The experience of A Course in Miracles with doug and linda is for those who have chosen the consistency and authenticity of fulltime Life in the Mind of God; the total and complete illumination of mind. Welcome are those dedicated and committed students willing to accept responsibility in every thought, who are called to experience a depth, truth and freedom beyond imagination, in the way of Christ.

This Class is for those interested in a dedicated and committed "study, learning and experience" of the spiritual path, A Course In Miracles, with doug and linda. The Class begins on January 1st and goes to December 31st each year. It is a one year commitment.

Opportunitites for students to join the Class after January 1st each year are considered by contacting doug and linda directly. There will be no occasional visitors to the room after the starting date.

Class Requirements:
  • The “Self Discovery Class” will dedicate this one year to completing the Course called, “A Course In Miracles.” It focuses on healing the way we presently see our self, others and the world and opens our minds to a new thought system based on Truth and Love.
  • A Course In Miracles is available worldwide and many choose to see it as a self-study, however, this “Self Discovery Class” is a unique opportunity to “study, learn and experience” this Course with doug and linda. It may be for you!
  • A true willingness and openness to undertake an entirely new program of healing your mind. This point is directed at everyone; new and experienced students, as your experience with this Class will not be like any other. Are you ready for this in true willingness and openness?
  • Pupils provide their own computer (IBM compatible), Internet, E-mail, microphone, telephone access and will install the free software program "Paltalk" on their computer.
  • Pupils will purchase their own ACIM Book, 2nd Edition (a $40-$50 important investment).
  • A substantial financial commitment in tuition is necessary for participants to make the dedication seemingly meaningful in form. A percentage of the tuition is due in advance of the starting date of January 1st. This advance is to seemingly motivate you in form to not quit throughout the year.
  • Financial arrangements must be confirmed with doug and linda prior to December 15, for the next year's Class.
  • Pupils complete a daily Workbook Lesson Study first thing in the morning; participate in the daily Live Audio Internet Workbook Lesson Class Study, Monday-Sunday, and specific practices as directed each day beginning January 1st.
  • Pupils will study an assigned Text reading (schedule provided), Monday through Friday, throughout the year, beginning January 1st. and participate in the Live Audio Internet Text study, Monday-Friday, on PalTalk.
  • Pupils will print, keep and maintain Text study notes, Workbook Lesson notes, handouts and relevant exercises.
  • Pupils may be requested to participate in one day, live Intensives on PalTalk throughout the year (on Saturdays unless otherwise arranged).
  • Pupils will be active participants in learning and support of the Class as a whole. Attendance and participation in the Class are not optional.
  • Pupils who choose this Class are choosing for once not to drop out, quit or go elsewhere for any reason.
Things To Consider About This Class:
Imagine yourself as a University Student Adviser. A student who has expressed "serious" interest in taking a specific set of classes provides you with the following information. The student informs you:

  • she will be missing many classes because of family gatherings.
  • she is very busy with other things.
  • she has other priorities.
  • she has holidays scheduled that will affect her attendance.
  • that throughout the class schedule she may have more important things come up.
  • that she cannot afford the tuition right now.
  • that the daily scheduled time of the classes does not work in her schedule.

Is this student ready to take classes?

Some Thoughts For Consideration:
  • What would the complete healing of your mind mean to you?
  • What would being absolutely free of guilt and fear thoughts mean to you?
  • What would the potential experience of total freedom mean to you?
  • What would having every relationship healed of resentment and free of pain mean to you?
  • What would being totally free of the past mean to you?
  • What would being totally free of judgement mean to you?
  • What would having teachers 24/7 who will guide you to this reality mean to you?
  • Can you imagine your mind being trained to the point where no situation or circumstance in body or form could affect your inner peace of mind? This is what this class offers!

Please keep in mind that the ego is heavily invested in you not taking and completing this Class and Course. The ego will present you with many reasons why it is impossible. We encourage you to consider why it is possible!

This Class and experience is about an investment in happiness. We take that seriously and hope you do too.
